Annie was born on a wine farm in the Western Cape. She was always the shy one in the classroom and battled to read out loud in front of all the other children. For the past 30 years, Annie has owned, taught and now manages a playgroup of 30 children, ages 2-4 years. She is passionate about children, especially the ones that don’t quite fit in with the others. She’s excited about the Sebezaphone is both developing the confidence of the little ones as well as providing meaningful employment for the disabled and the unskilled members of society.
In addition to having facilitated an HIV aids support group for adults and children, Annie is currently a facilitator for the Touching Hearts Ministry, a healing ministry for adults, young adults and children, where they walk alongside the broken hearted.
Annie is married to Brain and has two grown children, Angela and James.
